Welcome to my website, CRT-static! This website is part of my ongoing goals to essentially live life as if it's the 90s. While I would be lying if I said nostalgia wasn't one of my underlying reasons for doing this, I also want to get away from the capitalistic mess that the modern internet and social media has become. For now, this site will mainly be a blog. I will probably discuss a lot of topics, but the main themes will be my journey away from modern technologies, thoughts on the general web revival movement, as well as some general fun stuff like old video game reviews and musings on life in the Pacific Northwest.
I'm a graduate student living in Seattle, Washington. While I don't study computer science, my work does deal a lot with technology and data analysis, so i'm hoping that I will also pick up some more programming and coding skills from this project.
